About
Beatles Answers is an editorial reference project — Deep Analysis of the recordings of the Fab Four. Every page is a structured editorial entry on a song, EP, single or studio album in the canonical Beatles discography, with extended essays on marquee entries, pattern-analysis charts derived from the underlying data, and source citations to Mark Lewisohn's The Complete Beatles Recording Sessions (1988), The Beatles Bible, MusicBrainz, Wikipedia, AllMusic, Wikidata and Discogs.
The site is independent and unofficial. It is not affiliated with Apple Corps, Apple Records, Universal Music, Sony Music Publishing, the surviving Beatles or their estates.
Editorial principles
- Sourced. Every factual claim links to or cites a public reference. Where Lewisohn's book is silent, takes counts and other estimates are flagged as such.
- Brief excerpts only. Opening lyric lines are quoted at single-sentence length for identification under fair-use principles. Full lyrics are linked to Genius (Sony Music Publishing copyright).
- Public images. Album cover artwork is loaded from the MusicBrainz Cover Art Archive and is the property of its rights holders, used here under the editorial-fair-use principle for criticism and review.
